November in Atlanta kicks off with a one-night double screening of Solange’s When I Get Home at the High Museum of Art. Since July, screenings in select contemporary art spaces were activated across the United States and Europe. Having made stops in venues such as the New Orleans Museum of Art, Brooklyn Museum, and the Victoria and Albert Museum London, the film makes its way back south at the High’s Frequency Friday on the first of the month. There are two chances to view the director’s cut edition, which features new scenes and musical arrangements: the first viewing is at 6:45 pm and another at 8 pm, both followed by a talk-back conversation.
Tickets are available for purchase now at high.org.
